Meet The Team

Will

Will

You will meet Will first when he comes out to quote the job, he will then ensure he is also on site when the job is carried out, therefore ensuring you – the Customer, that you will be getting what you requested, and should any problems arise he is there to sort it.

Before coming into Arboriculture Will had many years’ experience in the Agriculture and Forestry background. He under took his formal training at Otley College of Agriculture and Horticulture in Suffolk. He is fully NPTC & Lantra Qualified with a good knowledge of Arboriculture and Forestry works.

He takes great pride in keeping up to date with the newest equipment available and with Industry best practices.

Sam

Sam

Sam successfully completed her NPTC & Lantra Chainsaw, Felling and Tree Climbing Training in early 2016, making her one of the only qualified female Tree Surgeons on the Isle of Wight.

These days you are just as likely to see her on site, as you are busily working behind the scenes doing the paperwork.

She is still the friendly voice on the end of the phone or email to answer your queries, and ensures the paperwork is kept up to date, and that we are all organised efficiently, meaning everything works like clockwork, enabling us to turn up on site with all the relevant Permissions and Risk Assessments completed, and ready for your job.

She has previously worked with the Isle of Wight Council and the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service. Being a born and bred Islander she has good knowledge of the Island and she holds all the relevant NPTC, Lantra and City & Guilds Certificates for the work she carries out for us.

Frank (en Stein)

Frank

Frank is a very useful member of the team and certainly does the work of at least one human being when he is on site.

His real title is “Stein Arb Trolley”, and he reduces the strain and wear and tear on the teams backs no end.

Mr and Mrs Monkey

Both very Health and Safety conscious they ensure that they comply with the PPE Regulations, just in case one day they get to break free.

The rest of the team have been known to “borrow” their saw and hedgecutter!!!

At this time the other regular members of our team are self-employed sub-contractors, these contractors all hold the relevant qualifications and insurance for the work they do for us, along with an up to date CRB disclosure check.
